We are delighted that you have taken an interest in our company. We take the protection of your privacy and your private data very seriously.
We collect, process and use your personal data in line with the European General Data Pro-tection Regulation (GDPR), the national data protection regulations applicable to our com-pany and according to the contents of this Data Protection Declaration.
The purpose of this Data Protection Declaration is to inform you about how we handle your personal data and what rights you have as a data subject.

Personal data
Personal data is information about your personal or factual circumstances. This includes all information about your identity (e.g. name, email address or address). Information that can-not be associated with your identity (e.g. number of users of our online offerings) is not con-sidered personal information.

You can generally use our online offerings without disclosing your identity and without providing personal information. However, personal data about you is collected for some of the services offered. We only collect, store and use the data for the purposes of use of our online offerings, particularly to provide the requested information.

Storage and processing of personal information
We store your information on secure servers. Technical and organisational measures are in place to prevent loss, destruction, access, alteration or dissemination of your data by unau-thorised persons. Access to your data is limited to a few, authorised persons. They are re-sponsible for the technical, commercial or editorial management of the server. Despite regu-lar inspections, complete protection against all risks is not feasible.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

To ensure adequate data security during the transmission process, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (e.g. SSL) vit HTTPS.

Legal basis and duration of storage
The legal basis for processing and using your personal data is the performance of the con-tract, legal obligations, prevailing legitimate interests, as well as your consent. Not providing data can have various consequences.
Where necessary for the relevant purpose, we process your personal data for the duration of the entire business relationship and thereafter according to the legal storage and documen-tation obligations as well as until the expiry of open warranty deadlines or other relevant legal periods.

Information on your computer
Every time you access our online offerings, we will collect the following information about your computer, regardless of whether you register: the IP address, the browser request and the time of this request. Furthermore, the status and the quantity of data transferred during this request are also recorded. We also collect product and version information about the browser and operating system used. In addition, we record which website was used to ac-cess our online offerings. The IP address is only stored for the time that our online offerings are used and is subsequently deleted or anonymised by being shortened. The other data will be stored for a limited period of time.

We use this data to operate our online offerings, particularly to identify and rectify any errors, to determine the capacity of our online offerings and to make adjustments and improve-ments.

Use of cookies
We use cookies for our online offerings. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and store certain settings and data to be exchanged with our online offerings via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain that sends the cookie file as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier.

Cookies allow us to recognise your computer and make any presettings immediately availa-ble. Cookies help us to improve our online offerings and provide even better services which are further tailored to your needs.

The cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted after the browser session.

Most browsers are set up to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or adjust the settings of your browser so that it informs you if cookies are sent. Please note you may not be able to use our online offerings or only to a limited extent if you reject the storage of cookies.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for statistical analyses. Google Analytics is a web analysis service from Google. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and allow for your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website in order to compile reports about website activities and to provide the website opera-tor with other services relating to the use of the website and Internet. Google will not associ-ate the IP address transmitted by your browser for the purpose of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software. However, we would like to point out that by doing so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the website. You can also prevent Google’s collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google for the future by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link.

tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
More information can be found at:
tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
or
www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html
We would like to point out that Google Analytics only works with anonymised IP addresses on our websites.

Google AdWords
We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and its conversion tracking func-tion. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google. A cookie is placed on your computer when you access our website via a Google ad. These cookies ex-pire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification purposes. If you visit certain parts of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that you have clicked on an advert and have been forwarded to our website. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie, i.e. cookies can therefore not be tracked across sites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in for conversion tracking. Customers are given the total number of users who clicked on their ad and proceeded to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can personally identify users. It is therefore not possible to associate your personal data with your user data. If you would like to deactivate the cookies for conversion tracking, you can adjust your browser so that cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com” are blocked.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API in order to display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google will collect, process and use data about the visitors’ use of the map functions. More information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google data protection notice. Here, you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection centre.

More detailed instructions on how to manage your own data with regard to Google products can be found here.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to provide correct and attractive content on our website across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to prevent multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prohibits access, the contents are displayed in a standard font.

Accessing script libraries or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible for operators of such libraries to collect data, although it is currently unclear whether they do and for what purposes.

The privacy policy of the library operator of Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the Remarketing function of Google Inc. This technology allows us to provide users with targeted advertising within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the browser of the website visitors that enables the visitors to be identified when they access the websites in the Google advertising network. On these pages, the user can be shown advertisements that refer to contents that the visitor has already accessed on websites that use the Google Remarketing function.
Google has stated that is does not collect personal data during this process. If you still do not want to use the Google Remarketing function, you can completely deactivate it by adjusting the settings under http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-related advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions under http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Use of the scalable central measuring procedure
Our website uses the “scalable central measuring procedure(SZM) provided by INFOnline GmbH (http://www.infonline.de) to collect statistical parameters relating to the use of our website.

This involves the collection of anonymous measurement values. The SZM reach measurement recognises computer systems using either a cookie with the identifier “ioam.de”, “ivwbox.de”, a LocalStorage object or a signature that is created from various information automatically transmitted from your browser. IP addresses are processed solely in anonymised form.

The reach measurement was developed taking data protection into account. The aim of the reach measurement is to statistically calculate the number of users of a website. Individual users are not identified at any time. Your identity remains protected. You will not receive any advertising from the system.

For web offerings of members of the German Audit Bureau of Circulation (Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V., (IVW – www.ivw.eu) or participants in the study “internet facts” conducted by the German Working Group for Online Media Research (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e.V., AGOF – www.agof.de), the usage statistics are published each month by the AGOF and the Working Group for Online Media Research (ag.ma – www.agma-mmc.de), as well as the IVW and can be viewed under www.agof.de, www.agma-mmc.de and www.ivw.eu. In addition to publishing the measurement data, the IVW reviews the SZM procedure on a regular basis for use in compliance with regulations and data protection legislation.

More information about the SZM procedure can be found on the INFOnline GmbH website (https://www.infonline.de), which operates the SZM procedure, the AGOF data protection website (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the IVW data protection website (http://www.ivw.eu).

You can refuse data processing by SZM under the following links: optout.ioam.de and optout.ivwbox.de.

Analysis by WiredMinds
Our website uses the tracking pixel technology provided by WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de) to analyse visitor behaviour.

This involves the collection, processing and storage of data, which is used to create usage profiles under a pseudonym. Wherever this is possible and reasonable, usage profiles are kept completely anonymous. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on the visitor's Internet browser and are subsequently used for the identification of the Internet browser. The data that is collected, which may also include personal data, is sent to WiredMinds or collected by WiredMinds directly. WiredMinds may use information placed by visitors on the website for the purpose of creating anonymous usage profiles. Any data collected in this way is not used for the personal identification of site visitors without their specific consent; neither is such data combined with the personal details associated with the user behind the pseudonym. Any IP addresses collected are anonymised immediately upon collection by deleting the last group of digits.

Data collection, processing and storage may be stopped at any time with effect for the future under the following link: Exclude from website tracking

Integrated YouTube videos
We integrate YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of these plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a site with the YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This informs YouTube which sites you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour.

Such cookies will not be stored when watching YouTube videos if you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the GoogleAd program. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information about data protection on “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Social plugins
Social plugins of the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognise the plugins by the corresponding logo.

In some cases, these plugins may send information, including personal data, to the service providers, which they may use. We prevent the unintentional or unwanted collection and transmission of data to service providers by means of the 2-click solution. In order to activate a desired social plugin, this must first be activated by clicking on the button. Activating the plugin will trigger the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We personally do not collect personal data from the social plugins or through their use.

We have no influence over which data an activated plugin collects and how this is used by the provider. It must currently be assumed that a direct connection to the services of the provider is established and at least the IP address and the device-related information is collected and used. It is also possible that the service providers will attempt to store cookies on the computer used. Please read the data protection notification of each service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used.
