Polyurethane glue is used to fix sheets of white polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) when insulating exterior walls of buildings using the seamless method (ETICS), polystyrene coffers, wall panels, the installation of window sills and insulation gaps. The adhesive can be used in floor insulation systems (foundations) using extruded polystyrene sheets (XPS) and expanded polystyrene sheets (EPS).
The polyurethane adhesive adheres excellently to concrete, ceramic and wood substrates as well as to PVC and all types of polystyrene, plasters and substrates with bitumen coating, tar paper and asphalt insulation compounds. Polyurethane glue can also be used to attach plasterboard to concrete substrates.
